DESCRIPTION

Aspira Women's Health develops and sells AI-powered blood tests for gynecologic disease risk assessment, focused on ovarian cancer. Aspira's two commercial products — Ova1Plus and OvaWatch — are blood-based Multivariate Index Assays (MIAs) that measure multiple protein biomarkers simultaneously and generate a malignancy risk score. Ova1Plus is used pre-operatively to assess ovarian masses before surgery, while OvaWatch is used for ongoing risk monitoring of masses initially classified as indeterminate or benign, and can be ordered repeatedly every three to six months. All testing is performed at Aspira's own CLIA-certified lab in Austin, Texas. Aspira bills insurance companies, Medicare, Medicaid, or patients directly for each test performed. Aspira sells through a direct sales force targeting gynecologists and gynecologic oncologists, supplemented by lab distribution partnerships with BioReference, ARUP, and Mayo Clinic Laboratories. Beyond its core OvaSuite products, Aspira is developing ENDOinform, a non-invasive endometriosis diagnostic, and OVAinform, a next-generation ovarian cancer test. Both programs use a multi-omic approach combining serum proteins, microRNA, and clinical metadata. Aspira is a pre-profitability company with a small workforce of roughly 38 employees. The company was delisted from Nasdaq in April 2025 and now trades on the OTC QX Best Market. Aspira has disclosed that its current capital resources are insufficient to fund operations through the remainder of 2026 and is actively seeking additional financing.
