Algorhythm Holdings is an AI-driven logistics technology company whose sole operating business is SemiCab, a platform that reduces freight inefficiencies — specifically "empty miles," the industry-wide problem where roughly one in three truck miles is driven without cargo. SemiCab's platform pools demand and supply across multiple shippers, regions, and time windows simultaneously to identify efficient round trips and load combinations, which the company argues can lift truck utilization from the industry average of roughly 66% to around 85%. SemiCab operates two business lines. In India, SemiCab runs a managed services model: it contracts for access to a truck fleet, then earns revenue by executing full truckload shipments for large FMCG companies including Procter & Gamble, Unilever, and Asian Paints. A key channel in India is the National Digital Freight Exchange (NDFE), a government-backed consortium of over 35 major multinationals, for which SemiCab is the exclusive technology provider. In the U.S. and globally, SemiCab recently launched "Apex," a SaaS product that sells subscriptions to enterprise shippers, 3PLs, and carriers, allowing them to layer SemiCab's AI optimization on top of their existing systems via API — without replacing them. The managed services model carries low margins initially, as SemiCab contracts trucks before fully utilizing them, with management targeting 5%–10% gross margins at scale. Apex is expected to carry margins typical of SaaS businesses. Algorhythm divested its legacy Singing Machine karaoke business in August 2025 to focus entirely on SemiCab.
