Infinite Group (IGI) is a small cybersecurity company serving SMEs and, through subcontracting, the U.S. government. IGI operates across three revenue lines: managed IT security support, cybersecurity consulting services, and software. Until recently, the largest revenue driver was a subcontract with Peraton, a large government IT contractor, under which IGI provided Level 2 technical and security support for Windows infrastructure at a U.S. government agency — essentially staff augmentation work. This contract was cancelled in May 2025, removing roughly 64% of FY24 revenue. Going forward, IGI's focus shifts to its proprietary Nodeware SaaS platform and its consulting services business. Nodeware automates network asset discovery, vulnerability scanning, and remediation guidance for SME customers, and is sold primarily through indirect channels — MSPs, MSSPs, and distributors like TD SYNNEX — with roughly 90% of revenue flowing through partners. IGI also resells third-party endpoint security software, primarily Webroot, as a master distributor to smaller channel partners. Consulting services include penetration testing, security assessments, incident response, and virtual CISO advisory services. IGI's stated strategy is to scale Nodeware through channel partners, expand its consulting business, and pursue acquisitions of smaller cybersecurity companies in the fragmented SME market, though no acquisitions have been completed to date. IGI has funded operations through high-cost debt, indicating the business has not been self-funding.
