Dynatronics makes and sells medical devices and rehabilitation products used in physical therapy, orthopedics, pain management, and athletic training. Its products fall into two broad categories: orthopedic soft bracing and supports (sold under the Bird & Cronin brand), including cervical collars, shoulder immobilizers, knee and ankle supports, and cold therapy products; and physical therapy and rehabilitation equipment (sold under the Solaris, Hausmann, PROTEAM, and other brands), including treatment tables, electrotherapy and ultrasound devices, phototherapy, traction, and exercise equipment. Dynatronics sells to orthopedists, physical therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers, hospitals, post-acute care facilities, professional sports teams, and universities. The company distributes primarily through a network of over 100 independent dealers across the U.S., supplemented by direct and independent sales reps, and also sells directly to hospitals and clinic chains under GPO pricing arrangements. Dynatronics manufactures nearly all of its products in-house or through contract manufacturers across facilities in Utah, New Jersey, and Minnesota. Revenue is driven by product volume and mix, with no single product exceeding 10% of revenue. The business has seasonal patterns, with stronger sales in spring and summer months.
