DESCRIPTION

TurboGen is an Israeli development-stage company that builds combined heat and power systems using microturbines. These systems generate electricity and heat on-site for mid-to-large residential, office, and hospitality buildings, nursing homes, and small data centers. TurboGen's primary products include the TG-40, a 40 KW electrical and 60 KW thermal microturbine, and the TR3200. The company is also developing systems with capacities up to 120 KW that run on natural gas, diesel, or hydrogen blends. TurboGen intends to generate revenue primarily through an Energy-as-a-Service model, where the company installs, owns, and maintains microturbines at customer sites while charging for the energy produced under multi-year agreements. Customers may also purchase systems directly. TurboGen focuses on the US and EU markets, targeting regions with established natural gas infrastructure. The company has not yet generated commercial revenue and is currently installing demonstration sites to validate its technology. Its strategy includes expanding its product line for hydrogen use and collaborating with energy service companies to manage local permitting and distribution. TurboGen also co-develops military turbo-generators for the defense market through partnerships.
