DESCRIPTION

Speed Group is a Cayman Islands holding company whose sole operating subsidiary, Speed Logistics Global Limited, provides cross-border e-commerce logistics services out of Hong Kong. Speed Logistics acts as a 3PL intermediary: it picks up small parcels from e-commerce merchants in Hong Kong, handles warehousing and consolidation, manages customs clearance, arranges air transport, and coordinates last-mile delivery to customers in Europe and North America. The company operates an asset-light model with no owned warehouses, aircraft, or delivery vehicles, instead purchasing cargo space from airlines and third-party carriers, bundling in customs clearance and last-mile delivery, and reselling this integrated service at a markup. Revenue is recognized per shipment on delivery. Pricing is cost-plus, based on weight and destination, which exposes margins to air freight rate volatility. E-commerce logistics is the dominant business, with freight forwarding and warehousing playing secondary roles. The customer base is extremely narrow — the top two customers account for nearly all revenue, and a single customer represents the large majority of total sales. Speed Logistics has no long-term contracts with any customer. The company launched its e-commerce logistics business in mid-2023 and has grown it rapidly since. Growth priorities include geographic expansion into new destination countries, customer diversification, and technology investment, including further integration of its shipping platform with carrier systems.
