DESCRIPTION

Ultratrex is a small Southeast Asian manufacturer of amphibious heavy machinery, primarily amphibious excavators, dredgers, and aquatic weed harvesters — specialized equipment designed to operate in wetland, swamp, and shallow-water environments where conventional land-based machinery cannot function. Customers include construction contractors, government agencies, environmental management firms, and resource companies that use the equipment for land reclamation, waterway dredging, wetland construction, and aquatic vegetation management. Ultratrex's primary operating entities are based in Malaysia and Indonesia, which serve as both its manufacturing bases and core markets. The company sells directly to customers across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and North America, with Asia Pacific accounting for roughly 72% of revenue. Ultratrex generates the vast majority of revenue — about 92% — from sales of finished machines and spare parts, with the remainder from repair, maintenance, and rental services. The company operates a manufacturing-to-stock model, carrying significant finished goods inventory to accommodate the long lead times required to build these machines. Revenue can be lumpy, driven by the timing of large individual orders. The current holding company, incorporated in the Cayman Islands, was assembled in 2024–2025 ahead of a planned U.S. IPO, and the group remains tightly controlled by its founding shareholders.
