DESCRIPTION

Robin Energy is a small Marshall Islands-incorporated shipping company that owns and operates oceangoing vessels transporting energy commodities. Robin currently operates three vessels: two small LPG carriers (the LPG Dream Syrax and LPG Dream Terrax, each roughly 5,000 cubic meters in capacity) and one Handysize product tanker (the M/T Wonder Mimosa). The LPG carriers transport propane and butane, while the tanker transports refined petroleum products like gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel. Robin does not trade commodities itself — it simply provides vessels to energy companies, commodity traders, and LPG distributors who charter them. Robin earns revenue through three charter arrangements: period time charters (fixed monthly rate for a set term), voyage charters (fixed rate per specific journey), and pool arrangements (a third party aggregates vessels and markets them on the spot market). Robin's two LPG carriers are currently under period time charters through early 2027, while the tanker participates in a third-party Handysize pool. Robin has no employees and outsources all commercial and technical management to Castor Ships, a related party. Robin was spun off from Toro Corp. in April 2025, and is now in the process of spinning off its tanker segment into a new company called AI OKTO. If completed, Robin would become a pure play LPG carrier company with two vessels. Robin's chairman and CEO, Petros Panagiotidis, controls the company through supervoting preferred shares and also manages several related shipping entities.
