DESCRIPTION

C2 Capital Group operates C2 Live, a mobile live streaming platform where viewers watch creators broadcast live video, interact via chat, and send virtual gifts. The platform is free to access; all revenue comes from virtual gifting. Viewers purchase virtual coins with real money through in-app purchases, then redeem those coins to send gifts to creators during live streams. C2 Live recognizes revenue when a gift is delivered and then owes the creator a portion of that value in virtual gems, which creators can redeem for cash once they hit minimum payout thresholds. Unpurchased coins sit as deferred revenue on the balance sheet. C2 Live also runs an Elite Badge program, paying select creators fixed monthly amounts based on content quality and engagement metrics, to secure a supply of high-quality live content. The platform is primarily focused on the U.S. market but is accessible globally. C2 Live was incorporated in March 2024 and launched in beta in August 2024, making it an early-stage business. The creator base grew from roughly 15,600 to roughly 43,300 between March and December 2025, though paying users remain a small fraction of roughly 1M registered accounts. The company plans to expand revenue into advertising, subscriptions, live shopping, and direct-to-fan content sales. C2 Live argues it is differentiated by a creator-monetization-first experience, gamified gifting mechanics, and in-house technology, competing against larger platforms like TikTok Live, Instagram Live, and Twitch that treat live streaming as a secondary feature.
