DESCRIPTION

Xinzi is a China-based manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) module encapsulation films — the adhesive films that sit between a solar panel's glass and its solar cells to protect against weather, moisture, and UV exposure. Xinzi's core products include transparent EVA film, white EVA film, POE film, and EPE co-extruded film, all sold by kilogram or square meter to solar module manufacturers as consumable inputs. Xinzi operates out of Hangzhou, with a secondary facility in the Suqian Economic Development Zone in Jiangsu Province, where Xinzi is the only encapsulation film manufacturer in an industrial park hosting roughly 40GW of module production capacity. Xinzi sells primarily to domestic Chinese second- and third-tier solar module manufacturers; first-tier producers such as Tongwei, LONGi, Jinko, and Trina Solar are aspirational targets. PV film sales comprise roughly 80-90% of total revenue, with the remainder from raw material resales, module sales, and processing services. Xinzi's margins are highly sensitive to EVA and POE resin prices, which make up roughly 74-78% of product composition. Xinzi's growth strategy centers on expanding capacity from roughly 3GW today to 15GW over five to eight years, qualifying with first-tier module customers, and beginning to explore export markets, starting with Vietnam.
