Maitong Sunshine Cultural Development (MGSD) is a small, early-stage Beijing-based company operating through its subsidiary Beijing Tongzhilian Cultural Development. Tongzhilian runs two active business lines: cultural tourism and product sales. In cultural tourism, Tongzhilian designs and markets tours across China targeting families and students, focusing on culturally significant destinations like temples, palaces, and museums. Tongzhilian outsources tour logistics to partner operators, keeping its role focused on design and marketing. Tours are sold through a network of sales agents built largely on CEO Huang Fang's personal industry relationships. In product sales, Tongzhilian procures and resells Chinese cultural and gift products — tea, alcohol, and gift cards — and acts as a sales agent for distributors of youth-oriented cultural products like toys and housewares. Suppliers deliver directly to customers, minimizing inventory costs. A third business line — organizing participatory arts exhibitions and performances showcasing Chinese artistic traditions — is planned but has not yet launched. Tourism revenue is seasonal, peaking during Chinese public holidays and school breaks. MGSD is incorporated in Nevada with an intermediate holding structure through Samoa and Hong Kong. With 12 employees and no meaningful brand recognition outside the CEO's personal network, Tongzhilian's long-term goal is to build an integrated cultural tourism and cultural products platform in China.
