DESCRIPTION

Smart Logistics Global (SLG) is a B2B contract logistics provider in China that arranges full truckload (FTL) road freight transportation of industrial raw materials — primarily paper, steel, coal, and food products — for large manufacturers. SLG acts as an end-to-end logistics manager: it analyzes customer needs, selects truckers, optimizes routes, and manages deliveries, rather than simply connecting shippers with truckers. SLG earns revenue by charging manufacturers a freight rate per route and paying out to the independent truckers who perform the deliveries, keeping the spread as gross margin. SLG does not own most of the trucks it uses; instead, it works with over 160,000 registered independent truckers, maintaining only a small in-house fleet as a buffer. SLG operates through a network of seven FTL centers across China, which serve as local customer acquisition and relationship management hubs. The company had roughly 212 customers in FY2025, though one customer accounted for roughly 32–37% of total revenue, reflecting a heavy reliance on a small number of large anchor customers. SLG uses a proprietary Transportation Management System to optimize routes and reduce empty trips. Growth strategy centers on expanding its FTL center network, developing a smart logistics park in Jiangxi Province into a full logistics hub, and building value-added services for truckers. SLG completed its IPO in October 2025, raising US$5M to fund these plans.
