DESCRIPTION

Linkage Global is a small cross-border e-commerce services company headquartered in Tokyo, with operations in Japan, Hong Kong, and mainland China. Linkage operates two core businesses. First, cross-border sales: Linkage sources products from Japanese and Chinese manufacturers — including food, beauty products, health products, household goods, and its own private-label smart electronics — and sells them to e-commerce sellers on platforms like Amazon, Rakuten, Shopee, and TikTok, who resell the products on their own storefronts. Linkage earns the spread between supplier cost and customer price, operating largely asset-light by drop-shipping directly from suppliers or fulfilling from its Japan warehouse. Second, fully managed e-commerce operations: launched in April 2024, Linkage manages online storefronts on Japanese e-commerce platforms on behalf of factory and brand owners who lack the expertise to run stores themselves, handling setup, listings, marketing, and customer service, and charging a commission on GMV. This services segment now accounts for roughly 73% of revenue and has become the dominant business. Linkage also previously operated a digital marketing business as an authorized Google advertising agent, which was terminated in April 2025. Linkage's growth strategy is focused on Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, using TikTok's commerce ecosystem as a key channel. Linkage is also exploring an acquisition of Cicada Tech, a real-world asset tokenization company, in a notable departure from its core business.
