DESCRIPTION

Oculis is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on treatments for eye and neuro-ophthalmic diseases. The company has no approved products and generates no revenue; its entire value lies in its three-drug pipeline. OCS-01 is a topical eye drop for diabetic macular edema (DME), a condition currently treated only by intravitreal injections. OCS-01 uses Oculis' proprietary OPTIREACH technology to deliver dexamethasone to the back of the eye via a simple drop, which could expand the treated patient pool by lowering treatment burden. Two Phase 3 trials enrolled over 800 patients, with topline results expected in Q2 2026. Licaminlimab is a biologic eye drop targeting TNFα for dry eye disease, using a precision medicine approach focused on patients with a specific TNFR1 gene variant. A registrational Phase 2/3 trial began in Q4 2025, with results expected in Q4 2026. Privosegtor is a neuroprotective small molecule for optic neuritis and a related rare condition, both with no approved treatments. It holds FDA Breakthrough Therapy and Orphan Drug designations, with registrational trials underway. Oculis retains worldwide rights to all three programs and intends to commercialize them directly if approved. The company outsources manufacturing to CMOs and funds operations through equity raises, having raised approximately CHF 494M since inception. Licaminlimab was licensed from Novartis and Privosegtor from Accure Therapeutics, both carrying milestone and royalty obligations.
