DESCRIPTION

CL Workshop Group (formerly Nature Wood Group) is a small wood products trading company headquartered in Macau. The company buys and resells logs, flooring, decking, and sawn timber to business customers — distributors, builders, and flooring retailers — primarily in China and Asia, with additional sales into Europe and North America. CL Workshop does not own forests or processing facilities; it is a pure trading operation, buying wood products from suppliers and reselling them at a margin. Profitability is driven by the spread between input costs and selling prices, both of which fluctuate with global commodity markets, as well as total volume sold and product mix. The company sources products from the U.S., South America, Africa, and Europe, and relies on established customer relationships and direct sales rather than formal marketing. China is the largest market at roughly 45% of revenue, followed by Asia ex-China at roughly 38% and Europe at roughly 14%. Product mix shifts opportunistically year to year: flooring grew to roughly 52% of FY25 revenue from roughly 5% in FY24, while logs fell from roughly 74% to roughly 39% over the same period. The company previously pursued a vertically integrated model with forest concessions and processing plants in Peru, but sold those operations in mid-2025 after persistent losses. In late 2025, roughly 87% of shares transferred to new shareholders, TUTU Business Services became the controlling shareholder, and the company was renamed CL Workshop Group — though its new strategic direction has not yet been defined.
