DESCRIPTION

ALR Technologies (ALRT) is a pre-revenue digital health company developing diabetes management technology for both humans and animals. Its core human health product, the Diabetes Solution, is an FDA-cleared, HIPAA-compliant software platform that collects blood glucose data from BGM or CGM devices, applies a proprietary Predictive A1C algorithm, and generates insulin dosing recommendations for healthcare providers. The platform is designed to reduce clinical inertia by automating data analysis and flagging patients who need care plan changes. Its animal health product, GluCurve Pet CGM, adapts this platform for diabetic cats and dogs, replacing the traditional in-clinic glucose curve process with continuous automated glucose monitoring uploaded to the cloud every five minutes, giving veterinarians dosing tools and glucose curve visualizations. ALRT's intended business model bundles its proprietary software with CGM hardware, selling the combined product to healthcare providers and veterinary clinics, with potential subscription or service fees. A critical dependency is CGM hardware supply — ALRT does not manufacture CGMs and relies entirely on third-party suppliers. Its prior supplier failed to meet specifications, wiping out nearly all revenue ever collected. In September 2025, ALRT signed a new manufacturing agreement with CMTS, a Shenzhen-based CGM maker, for GluCurve, though the deal is conditional on hardware meeting specifications. The human health product is not expected to be commercialized until after GluCurve launches, which ALRT does not expect before 2026. The company has generated essentially no revenue and funds operations through related-party loans.
