ECD Auto Design builds fully custom, one-of-a-kind luxury "Restomod" vehicles — classic cars stripped to the chassis and rebuilt with modern powertrains, interiors, and technology. ECD's core products are restored and customized Land Rover Defenders, Range Rover Classics, and Land Rover Series IIA/IIIs, with more recent expansion into Jaguar E-Types, Ford Mustangs, and Toyota FJ40s. Each vehicle starts as a used classic imported from the UK, which ECD then completely disassembles and hand-builds back up over approximately 2,200 man-hours. Customers specify virtually every element — engine type, paint, interior leather, electronics, and more. Starting prices range from roughly $240K to $300K per vehicle, with customers spending on average an additional ~$73K in upgrades. ECD targets high-net-worth individuals and sells directly through its Kissimmee, Florida headquarters and newer retail showrooms in West Palm Beach and Nantucket. The build process takes 12–14 months from contract to delivery, and customers pay upfront or in stages, funding production in advance. ECD also earns revenue from extended warranties, repair and upgrade services, and used vehicle resale commissions. ECD has recently begun building a small inventory of on-demand vehicles for faster delivery at its retail locations, moving slightly away from a purely made-to-order model. ECD's growth strategy centers on adding a third production line, expanding its model lineup, and growing its retail footprint.
