DESCRIPTION

ParaZero Technologies is a small Israeli aerospace and defense technology company with two core product lines: commercial drone safety systems and counter-drone (C-UAS) systems. ParaZero's original product, SafeAir, is an autonomous parachute recovery system that attaches to commercial drones and deploys automatically during in-flight emergencies. The primary value of SafeAir is regulatory — aviation authorities in the U.S., Europe, and Australia require ground risk mitigation for advanced drone operations, such as flights over people or beyond visual line of sight, and SafeAir enables operators to obtain those approvals. ParaZero sells SafeAir directly, through resellers, and via OEM/ODM partnerships where SafeAir is integrated at the hardware design stage. The newer and increasingly prioritized product is DefendAir, a non-explosive, net-based system that physically intercepts hostile drones by entangling their propellers. DefendAir is available in handheld, fixed, and vehicle-mounted configurations and targets military, homeland security, and critical infrastructure customers. ParaZero also offers DropAir, a precision airdrop system originally developed for the IDF that delivers payloads — including medical supplies — from drones into hard-to-reach areas. ParaZero generates revenue from direct product sales and through regional distributors, including defense-focused partners in Western Europe with NATO relationships. The company is early-stage, currently unprofitable, and funds operations through equity raises. With only 22 full-time employees, ParaZero is focused on expanding DefendAir into European defense markets while growing SafeAir through new regulatory approvals and distribution partnerships.
