DESCRIPTION

LiveWire is an electric vehicle company spun out of Harley-Davidson in 2022. It operates two businesses: adult electric motorcycles under the LiveWire brand, and electric balance bikes for kids under the STACYC brand. STACYC generates the majority of revenue, selling battery-powered balance bikes for children ages 3 to 12, plus an adult pedal-assist e-bike launched in 2025. STACYC sells through powersports dealers, distributors, and direct-to-consumer online channels, and LiveWire also licenses the STACYC brand to other OEMs. The Electric Motorcycles segment sells premium adult electric motorcycles built on LiveWire's proprietary ARROW architecture, which uses the battery and motor as the primary vehicle structure. Motorcycles are sold through independent dealers, a company-owned California dealership, and online. LiveWire relies on Harley-Davidson to manufacture its S2 platform motorcycles under a cost-plus contract manufacturing agreement, making the model asset-light but dependent on H-D for production costs. Both segments currently operate at a loss, and LiveWire is funded in part through a term loan from H-D. Near-term growth is focused on expanding STACYC internationally, launching the more affordable S4 Honcho mini-moto motorcycle in 2026, and releasing an electric maxi-scooter targeting Europe through a partnership with KYMCO Group.
