SaverOne is an early-stage Israeli technology company that makes vehicle safety systems to prevent distracted driving caused by mobile phone use. SaverOne's core product, the Driver Distraction Prevention System (DDPS), uses proprietary hardware and RF signal detection to locate mobile devices within a vehicle and determine whether a device is in the driver's zone. If a phone is detected in the driver's area while the vehicle is moving, the system automatically blocks non-permitted apps — texting, social media — while leaving navigation, calls, and music accessible. Critically, the system only affects the driver's phone, not passengers' phones, and does not require ongoing cooperation from the driver. SaverOne sells primarily to commercial fleet operators — trucking companies, bus operators, and corporate fleets — as well as to OEM vehicle manufacturers. Current customers include Cemex, Teva Pharmaceutical, Egged Tours, and FedEx contractors in the U.S. SaverOne also has OEM integration agreements with IVECO and Volvo Bus Mexico. The business model combines a one-time hardware fee with a recurring monthly subscription for the safety service. SaverOne also has a VRU (Vulnerable Road User) detection product in early development, which uses RF signals from pedestrians' and cyclists' phones to detect road users in non-line-of-sight conditions — a gap that camera, radar, and LiDAR sensors cannot address. SaverOne pursues a pilot-to-fleet expansion model, deploying small-scale pilots before converting to full commercial orders.
