DESCRIPTION

Cyngn is an early-stage autonomous vehicle software company focused on industrial material handling equipment — forklifts, tuggers, floor scrubbers, and similar vehicles used in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers. Cyngn's core product is DriveMod, a vehicle-agnostic software stack that enables industrial vehicles to drive themselves without a human operator. Cyngn integrates DriveMod onto vehicles made by OEM partners, either at the factory or via retrofit. DriveMod is bundled into a broader product called the Enterprise Autonomy Suite (EAS), which also includes Cyngn Insight, a fleet management and analytics dashboard, and Cyngn Evolve, an internal AI/ML training and simulation tool used to improve DriveMod via over-the-air updates. Cyngn sells directly to end customers and through OEM partners and dealer networks; named customers include John Deere, G&J Pepsi, and Coats Automotive. Cyngn generates revenue through three streams: project-based deployment fees, recurring EAS subscription licenses, and non-recurring engineering fees for adapting DriveMod to new vehicle types. The long-term model is subscription-driven — as customers expand their autonomous fleets, license revenue scales with vehicle count and site count. Cyngn describes its model as "Driver as a Service," where the subscription cost competes directly against the fully-loaded cost of a human operator. Cyngn is pre-profitability with a limited number of commercial deployments to date.
