DESCRIPTION

Allarity Therapeutics is a clinical-stage oncology company developing stenoparib, a cancer drug targeting ovarian cancer, alongside a proprietary companion diagnostic called the DRP® (Drug Response Predictor). Stenoparib is a dual inhibitor of PARP and Tankyrases — it blocks DNA repair in cancer cells while also inhibiting the WNT cell survival pathway, which may allow it to kill cancers resistant to first-generation PARP inhibitors. Allarity is primarily targeting platinum-resistant or platinum-ineligible ovarian cancer, a patient population with limited treatment options. The DRP® platform analyzes a tumor biopsy's gene expression profile to predict whether a patient's cancer will respond to a specific drug. Allarity uses the DRP® as a patient selection tool in clinical trials, enrolling only likely responders to improve trial efficiency and success rates. Allarity has no approved products and is currently running Phase 2 trials for stenoparib. The company is pre-revenue in any meaningful sense, funded by equity raises. If stenoparib receives FDA approval, Allarity plans to commercialize through marketing and distribution partners rather than building its own sales infrastructure. Stenoparib was in-licensed from Eisai, which retains the right to reacquire the asset at fair market value upon successful Phase 2 completion. The DRP® platform has been developed for over 70 anti-cancer drugs and represents a potential licensing asset, though Allarity is not actively building a broad diagnostics business.
