DESCRIPTION

ICZOOM Group operates a B2B e-commerce platform for electronic components, connecting SME buyers in China and Hong Kong with overseas suppliers and authorized distributors. Buyers — primarily manufacturers of consumer electronics, IoT devices, automotive electronics, and industrial control equipment — register on ICZOOM's platforms (iczoom.com and iczoomex.com), search for parts by number or specification, compare offers, and place orders. ICZOOM then sources components from a matched supplier and handles fulfillment. The business model is straightforward: ICZOOM buys components from suppliers and resells them to customers at a markup, acting as a trading intermediary. This product revenue accounts for roughly 99% of total sales, with semiconductors representing the dominant product category. Gross margins are thin, reflecting the commoditized nature of electronic components distribution. A small slice of revenue comes from service fees for customs clearance, warehousing, and logistics. ICZOOM uses Hong Kong as a transshipment hub for components moving into mainland China and holds Senior Authorized Economic Operator certification from Chinese customs, which it argues enables faster import processing. To drive customer retention, ICZOOM offers a free SaaS suite covering order management, BOM management, and logistics tracking. In August 2025, ICZOOM launched printed circuit board assembly services, allowing customers to have components assembled into finished circuit boards, representing an early push toward a broader one-stop manufacturing offering for SME customers.
