DESCRIPTION

OneMedNet provides de-identified clinical imaging data — CT scans, MRIs, X-rays, and other modalities — bundled with associated clinical records like EHR and lab results, to life science companies. Its core product, iRWD (imaging Real World Data), is used by pharmaceutical companies, medical device makers, AI developers, and CROs to train diagnostic AI models, conduct pre-clinical research, and support regulatory submissions to the FDA and EMA. OneMedNet sources data from a federated network of roughly 2,130 hospitals and imaging centers, where data stays onsite at each provider until a customer contracts for a specific dataset. OneMedNet makes money by licensing curated datasets, with pricing driven by the size and complexity of each order. Each engagement begins with a customer defining a cohort — specifying patient demographics, disease type, imaging modality, and format — and OneMedNet searches its network, curates and de-identifies matching records, and delivers the dataset. OneMedNet also operates BEAM, a legacy image-sharing platform for healthcare providers, which originally built the provider network now used to source iRWD. OneMedNet's cost structure is people-intensive, centered on clinical curators, compliance staff, and data scientists, with relatively modest infrastructure costs given that data is not centrally stored. OneMedNet argues its in-house clinical expertise and ability to deliver FDA 21 CFR Part 11-compliant data differentiates it from raw data providers.
