DESCRIPTION

monday.com is a cloud-based work management and business software platform. Its flagship product, monday work management, lets organizations build customizable, no-code workflows, manage projects, automate tasks, and collaborate across teams. The platform serves a broad range of industries and team sizes, from small businesses to large enterprises. Beyond work management, monday.com has expanded into adjacent products: monday CRM (crossed $100M ARR in under three years), monday service (a service desk product launched in early 2025, with ~70% of ARR from mid-market and enterprise), monday dev (agile software development workflows), and monday campaigns (AI-powered marketing). New products now account for over 10% of total ARR. monday.com also embeds AI across the platform through tools like Sidekick (an AI assistant), Monday Vibe (a natural language app builder), and AI Agents (autonomous task execution). The company sells through two channels: a self-serve, product-led motion targeting smaller customers, and a sales-led motion targeting mid-market and enterprise accounts — the latter increasingly the focus as monday.com moves upmarket. Revenue is almost entirely subscription-based, priced per user per month across tiered plans, and recognized ratably. monday.com uses a land-and-expand model, growing accounts by adding seats and cross-selling products over time. Gross margins run around 89-90%, typical of SaaS businesses, with sales and marketing as the largest cost. monday.com ended FY2025 with ~$1.5B in cash and no long-term debt, and recently initiated an $870M share repurchase program.
