Gross margins are improving as SoundHound migrates customers from third-party AI models onto its proprietary Polaris speech recognition model. SoundHound has been acquisitive, buying SYNQ3, Amelia, Allset, and Interactions in 2024-2025 to expand its customer base and enterprise depth, with a playbook of replacing acquired companies' third-party AI with its own platform and cross-selling its broader product suite.
