DESCRIPTION

Vor Biopharma (Vor Bio) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing telitacicept, a fusion protein that simultaneously blocks BAFF and APRIL — two signaling molecules that drive overactive B cell responses underlying a range of autoimmune diseases. Vor Bio licensed exclusive rights to develop and commercialize telitacicept outside Greater China from RemeGen, a Chinese biopharma that developed the drug and has already secured approvals in China. Vor Bio's two lead indications are generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG), a rare neuromuscular disorder, and Sjögren's Disease (SjD), a chronic autoimmune condition affecting salivary and lacrimal glands. Both are in global Phase 3 trials, with gMG topline data expected in the first half of 2027 and SjD enrollment begun in March 2026. Vor Bio has no revenue and is entirely pre-commercial, funded through equity raises. The company plans to build its own targeted sales force focused on the neurologists and rheumatologists who treat these conditions. The RemeGen license carries meaningful financial obligations: Vor Bio paid $125M upfront and owes RemeGen up to $330M in regulatory milestones, up to $3.775B in sales milestones, and tiered royalties in the high single-digit to mid-teen percentage range. Manufacturing is fully outsourced. Vor Bio pivoted to this autoimmune focus in mid-2025, having previously developed gene-edited stem cell therapies for blood cancers before winding down those programs entirely.
