Pattern is an ecommerce acceleration platform that manages online marketplace selling on behalf of consumer brands. Pattern's core product is its Global 3P Accelerator, under which Pattern purchases inventory directly from brand partners at wholesale prices and resells it to consumers on marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart, Coupang, and TikTok Shop, capturing the margin in between. By owning inventory, Pattern takes on the full ecommerce stack — advertising, pricing, product content, fulfillment, inventory forecasting, and customer service — for each brand. Pattern currently works with more than 200 brand partners across health and wellness, beauty, home and lifestyle, pet, sports and outdoors, and consumer electronics. Over 89% of revenue comes from existing brand partners, and Pattern's NRR (existing partner revenue growth, year-over-year) reached 122% in Q3 2025. Pattern's technology platform is built on over 66 trillion historical data points and uses ML models to automate ecommerce decisions at scale, including ad bidding, content optimization, pricing, and inventory management. Pattern argues that its inventory-bearing model aligns incentives more tightly with brand partners than fee-based or agency models, since Pattern's revenue rises and falls with brand sales. Amazon remains the dominant marketplace in Pattern's mix, though non-Amazon and international revenues are growing. Pattern also offers smaller, adjacent services including SaaS content tools, fulfillment services, and consulting.
