DESCRIPTION

Westrock Coffee is a B2B manufacturer and supplier of coffee, tea, and beverage ingredients to restaurants, convenience stores, retailers, and large CPG companies in the U.S. and internationally. Westrock operates as a "brand-behind-the-brand" — it manufactures and packages finished beverage products that customers sell under their own labels. Core products include roast and ground coffee, single-serve cups (K-Cup format), liquid extracts, ready-to-drink beverages (cold brew, iced coffee, canned and bottled RTD), and tea and flavor ingredients. Westrock positions itself as a full-service innovation partner, working with customers from product development through sourcing, roasting, packaging, and delivery. The company passes green coffee commodity costs through to customers, so gross profit per unit is less exposed to coffee price swings, though higher prices do increase working capital. Westrock operates two segments: Beverage Solutions, the core manufacturing business, and Sustainable Sourcing & Traceability, which handles green coffee trading through subsidiary Falcon Coffees. Westrock's Conway, Arkansas facility — approximately $340M in cumulative investment and described as the largest roast-to-extract-to-RTD complex in the country — is central to its growth story. The facility has been scaling up through 2025, and as utilization increases, Westrock expects profitability to improve sharply given the fixed-cost-heavy infrastructure. Growth is driven by the Conway ramp, cross-selling across product categories to existing large-brand customers, and a deliberate mix shift toward higher-margin liquid extracts and RTD beverages.
