DESCRIPTION

Aspargo Labs is an early-stage specialty pharmaceutical company with a single commercial product: Sildenafil Oral Suspension, a liquid formulation of sildenafil citrate (the active ingredient in Viagra) used to treat erectile dysfunction. Rather than a standard pill, Aspargo's product is dispensed via a metered-dose pump from a 30 ml bottle, allowing patients to self-titrate their dose without splitting or crushing tablets. The product is sold under the brand name BANDOL in Spain and HEZKUE in Germany and the UK. Aspargo sells to patients through urologists and general practitioners, using contract sales forces and third-party logistics providers in each market. Aspargo does not manufacture its product — BANDOL and HEZKUE are manufactured by Edefarm in Valencia, Spain, and purchased by Aspargo for resale. Aspargo also pays royalties and milestone payments to licensors Farmalider and Innovazone, who hold the underlying patents on the formulation. The company is pre-profitability and has funded operations entirely through equity and debt. Aspargo's near-term growth plan focuses on expanding physician adoption in existing European markets, entering additional EU countries via the mutual recognition procedure, and filing an NDA with the FDA in mid-2025 targeting approval around mid-2026. Longer term, Aspargo is developing a "smart" biometric-enabled dispenser linked to a mobile app for dose tracking and physician connectivity, intended to extend the oral suspension platform to other medications.
