Cloopen (OTC: RAASY) is a China-based cloud communications software company selling a suite of cloud-based tools to Chinese enterprises. Cloopen operates across three product lines. CPaaS is an API- and SDK-based platform that lets enterprises embed voice calls, SMS messaging, and other communications functions into their own applications, with customers paying usage-based fees tied to message volumes and call minutes. Cloud-based Contact Centers (CC) replaces legacy on-premises systems with cloud-hosted equivalents — RongCC targets large enterprises with customizable, AI-enhanced contact center software, while 7moor Cloud is a lighter, standardized product for SMEs. UC&C, the smallest business, centers on RongVideo, a video conferencing and messaging platform deployed on a project basis for large enterprises, primarily in financial services and industrial sectors. Cloopen sells to enterprises across internet, financial services, telecom, manufacturing, and energy verticals through a direct sales force for large accounts and self-serve or distributor channels for SMEs. The business model combines recurring subscription and usage fees (CPaaS and CC) with milestone-based project payments (RongCC private cloud and RongVideo). Cloopen's stated strategy focuses on large enterprises and the pan-financial industry, deliberately shedding lower-margin SME and SMS reseller customers in favor of higher-value accounts. Cloopen also pursues cross-selling across product lines within existing customers. The company has been delisted from NYSE since October 2023 and its ADSs now trade OTC; a going-private transaction was proposed by the founder and CEO in December 2025.
