DESCRIPTION

Reynolds Consumer Products makes everyday household products for cooking, food storage, and cleanup, sold under two flagship brands — Reynolds and Hefty — as well as a broad portfolio of store brand (private label) products. Reynolds Wrap dominates the U.S. consumer aluminum foil market with over 50% market share, while Hefty is the leading brand in large black trash bags and a strong #2 in food storage bags and tall kitchen trash bags. Reynolds sells through mass merchants, warehouse clubs, grocery chains, and online retailers; three customers account for roughly 59% of total revenue. Reynolds operates four segments: Reynolds Cooking & Baking (~34% of revenue), Hefty Waste & Storage (~25%), Hefty Tableware (~23%), and Presto Products (~18%). Presto sells store brand food storage bags, trash bags, and plastic wrap, and also licenses resealable closure technology to other consumer products companies. Reynolds' dual branded/store brand model is central to its strategy: branded products carry higher margins and pricing power, while store brand products provide volume scale and deepen retailer relationships. Raw material costs — primarily aluminum and polyethylene resins — are the biggest driver of margin variability. Reynolds passes through commodity cost increases via periodic price increases, with roughly a two-to-six month lag before pricing actions flow through. Reynolds targets net leverage of 2.0–2.5x EBITDA and is investing in manufacturing automation and innovation, with capex expected in the low $200M range in 2026.
