DESCRIPTION

Venu develops, owns, and operates upscale live-music entertainment campuses in suburban markets it views as underserved by premium concert venues. The company builds two types of venues: Bourbon Brothers Presents indoor music halls (~1,400 capacity, focused on country and rock) and The Sunset Amphitheater outdoor amphitheaters (8,000–20,000 seats). Venu currently operates locations in Colorado Springs and Gainesville, GA, with Ford Amphitheater (Colorado Springs, 8,000 seats) opening in August 2024. Additional amphitheaters are in development across Texas and Oklahoma. Each venue is developed as an integrated entertainment campus, pairing the concert hall with full-service restaurants, bars, and premium hospitality suites. Venu's signature product is the Luxe FireSuite — a private VIP concert suite seating 8–10 guests, pre-sold to customers for $100K–$200K upfront. Venu does not operate its amphitheaters directly; it contracts with AEG Presents and Live Nation and shares profits with them. Revenue comes from event-driven sources (tickets, food and beverage, parking), naming rights and sponsorships, venue rentals, and Luxe FireSuite sales. FireSuite pre-sales are central to Venu's capital strategy — proceeds fund construction, and Venu pairs this with municipal incentives (land deals, forgivable loans, infrastructure funding) and debt to minimize equity needs. Venu targets suburban markets with municipal partners willing to co-invest, and plans to expand to 20 venues within roughly 60 months.
