DESCRIPTION

HawkEye 360 collects and processes radio frequency (RF) signals from space, delivering signals intelligence (SIGINT) to U.S. and allied government customers. The company designs, builds, and operates a constellation of over 30 satellites that fly in clusters to detect, geolocate, and characterize RF emissions globally. Raw RF data is processed through HawkEye 360's proprietary Signal Processing Platform, which uses AI/ML algorithms to convert signals into actionable intelligence. Key use cases include maritime vessel tracking, military radar monitoring, GPS jamming detection, and communications mapping. The National Reconnaissance Office is the largest single customer, and U.S. government agencies collectively represent the majority of revenue. HawkEye 360's core business model involves selling RF data and analytics under fixed-price government contracts, with a growing subscription component. The economics are highly leveraged: the satellite constellation and signal processing platform are large fixed costs, but the same data can be sold to multiple customers and the same algorithms serve new use cases with minimal marginal cost. In December 2025, HawkEye 360 acquired Innovative Signal Analysis (ISA), a Texas-based provider of real-time signal processing systems for U.S. Government agencies, adding classified architecture access and multi-domain processing capabilities. ISA operates on a more labor-intensive, lower-margin government services model relative to HawkEye 360's core data business. HawkEye 360's growth strategy focuses on reducing data latency to enable real-time tactical applications, expanding into multi-domain RF intelligence, growing internationally with allied nations seeking sovereign SIGINT capability, and pursuing further acquisitions in RF processing and AI/ML analytics.
