BRP designs, manufactures, and sells powersports vehicles for recreational and utility use across snow, water, and land. BRP sells through roughly 2,050 dealers and ~140 distributors across 110+ countries, collecting wholesale revenue from dealers rather than selling directly to end consumers. BRP's core product lines are Can-Am ATVs and SSVs (off-road vehicles used for recreation and utility), Sea-Doo personal watercraft, Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles, and Can-Am 3-wheeled road vehicles. BRP holds the #1 global market share in PWCs, snowmobiles, and 3WVs, and the #2 position in both ATVs and SSVs. BRP also sells parts, accessories, and apparel (PA&A) for its vehicle lines, and its Rotax engine division sells engines to third-party OEMs for karts and small aircraft. BRP manufactures vehicles to dealer orders across 12 facilities globally, with seasonal products like snowmobiles and PWCs using pre-season dealer "booking" orders to give production visibility. About three-quarters of wholesale sales are facilitated through third-party floor plan financing, allowing dealers to finance inventory and accelerating BRP's cash conversion. BRP invests roughly 5% of revenue annually in R&D, funding innovation across its product lines. BRP's growth strategy focuses on ORV market share recovery, international expansion, and electrification, including electric ATVs and motorcycles. BRP is also divesting its Marine boat businesses to concentrate on its core powersports operations.
