NeoVolta designs and manufactures energy storage systems (ESS) for residential and light commercial customers. Its flagship product is the NV14, a 14.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery paired with a 7.6 kW hybrid inverter. Customers use NeoVolta's systems for backup power, time-of-use optimization, and solar energy storage. NeoVolta also sells the NV24 expansion battery, the higher-capacity NVPlus, and the NV7600 stand-alone inverter. NeoVolta manufactures the NV14 and NV24 at its Poway, California facility, while newer products are built through contract manufacturers. NeoVolta sells hardware to certified independent solar installers and distributors, who then install systems for end customers. NeoVolta targets small, independent installers that larger competitors tend to underserve, and its Certified Installer Program is designed to build repeat buying behavior. A key differentiator NeoVolta cites is fast fulfillment — typically under two weeks — which matters to small installers who operate on a just-in-time basis. NeoVolta originally focused on Southern California but has expanded to more than 15 states and territories. Growth priorities include expanding into regional and national distribution, developing financing partnerships, entering the commercial and industrial market with a 250 kW / 430 kWh system expected by late 2025, and continuing product development. NeoVolta operates with 17 full-time employees.
