DESCRIPTION

Cambium Networks makes wireless networking equipment sold to network operators and enterprises. Its two core product lines are fixed wireless broadband (FWB) radios and enterprise networking gear. The FWB portfolio includes point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PMP) radios that deliver broadband internet over the air — PTP links serve as network backhaul while PMP systems connect towers to end-user premises, functioning as a wireless alternative to fiber or cable. These products are sold primarily to wireless internet service providers (WISPs), municipalities, utilities, and government customers. The enterprise portfolio includes Wi-Fi access points, Ethernet switches, and security/SD-WAN gateway devices sold to enterprises, schools, hospitality operators, and managed service providers (MSPs). Underpinning both lines is cnMaestro, a cloud-based platform for remote network management, sold as a subscription with premium AI-powered features. Cambium sells primarily through roughly 145 distributors and over 11,500 channel partners globally. Revenue is driven mainly by hardware sales, with a growing software subscription layer tied to the installed hardware base — a modest razor-and-blade dynamic. Manufacturing is fully outsourced to contract manufacturers in Vietnam and Thailand. Cambium was delisted from Nasdaq in March 2026 after failing to timely file its annual and quarterly reports, and its shares now trade on the OTC market under "CMBMF."
