DESCRIPTION

Cenntro is an early-stage designer, manufacturer, and distributor of purpose-built electric commercial vehicles (ECVs) targeting fleet operators, municipal organizations, and logistics companies. Its core product line includes the Metro, a light-duty cab-forward utility vehicle for city services and last-mile delivery, and the Logistar Series, a range of medium-duty electric trucks and vans (Class 1–4) targeting delivery fleets in North America and Europe. Cenntro also makes the iChassis, an open-platform programmable chassis for autonomous driving developers, the Antric One cargo bike for urban logistics in Europe, and the Avantier Series of micro EVs. Through its Bison Motors subsidiary, Cenntro has assembled a prototype BM860H hydrogen fuel cell Class 8 semi-truck, though this is not yet in commercial production. Cenntro follows an asset-light, distributed manufacturing model: it designs vehicles and manufactures kits primarily at facilities in China, then ships kits for assembly at U.S. facilities in California and New Jersey, and works with third-party assemblers in Europe. For some models, Cenntro contracts third-party OEMs to manufacture completed vehicles to its specifications. Cenntro sells through a hybrid channel of company-operated EV Centers, dealer networks, and regional distribution partners. Government subsidy programs are a meaningful demand driver, particularly in California and New York. Cenntro's growth strategy focuses on expanding the Logistar Series in North America and Europe, regionalizing manufacturing to reduce tariff exposure, and developing next-generation technologies including solid-state batteries and hydrogen systems.
