Select Water Solutions is a water management company serving U.S. oil and gas producers, managing the full water lifecycle — sourcing, transporting, treating, recycling, and disposing of water — across major U.S. unconventional basins. Select operates three segments: Water Infrastructure, Water Services, and Chemical Technologies. Water Infrastructure, the highest-margin segment, develops and operates permanent assets including large-diameter pipeline networks, recycling facilities, produced water storage, saltwater disposal wells, and oilfield waste landfills. These assets are contracted under long-term agreements with acreage dedications and minimum volume commitments, generating revenue on a per-barrel fee as produced water flows through the network. Water Services provides field-level, activity-sensitive services including water transfer, sourcing, containment, and fluids hauling. Chemical Technologies develops and manufactures hydraulic fracturing chemicals — primarily friction reducers, surfactants, and water treatment chemicals — with in-basin manufacturing in Midland and Tyler, Texas. Select's near-term growth is focused on an aggressive build-out of pipeline and recycling infrastructure in the Northern Delaware Basin in New Mexico. Longer-term, Select is pursuing mineral extraction royalties (lithium, iodine) from produced water already flowing through its network, beneficial reuse of produced water for non-energy applications, and a Colorado water rights venture targeting long-term municipal and industrial water supply contracts.
