A supplemental income stream comes from in-house special servicing of non-performing loans — because loans are originated at conservative loan-to-values, Velocity often recovers more than outstanding principal on resolutions. Velocity also operates Century Health & Housing Capital, a smaller subsidiary that originates and services government-insured FHA loans for multifamily and senior housing.
