DESCRIPTION

DXC Technology is a large IT services company that helps global enterprises and public sector clients manage and modernize their technology operations. DXC serves clients in regulated industries including financial services, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, and government across 60 countries, with roughly 115,000 employees. DXC operates through three segments: Global Infrastructure Services (GIS, ~50% of revenue), which manages data centers, mainframes, cloud, and network environments under long-term contracts; Consulting & Engineering Services (CES, ~40% of revenue), which provides software engineering, SAP implementations, and enterprise application services; and Insurance Software & Services (~10% of revenue), which offers software and business process services to insurance carriers via its Assure cloud platform. The majority of DXC's revenue comes from multi-year, outcome-based or fixed-price service contracts, with a smaller portion from shorter-cycle project work that is more sensitive to discretionary IT spending. Under CEO Raul Fernandez, DXC is pursuing two strategic tracks: improving execution in its core business through pricing discipline and sales enablement, and building AI-native products (dubbed "Fast Track") that generate recurring, higher-margin software-like revenue. Key Fast Track offerings include Core Ignite, an API gateway connecting DXC's Hogan core banking platform to modern fintech services; OASIS, an agentic IT orchestration platform; and an AI-enabled Security Operations Center built with partner 7AI. DXC targets Fast Track to represent 10% of run-rate revenue by mid-2028.
