ReTo is a small-cap Chinese holding company that sells three product lines: ecological environment protection equipment (waste incinerators, compactors, shredders, sorting and composting systems), intelligent mining equipment (gold grinding mills, jaw crushers), and smart craft beer machines. ReTo does not manufacture its products directly — it designs them and outsources production to third-party suppliers in Hebei Province, China, while maintaining on-site quality oversight. ReTo sells its environmental and mining equipment to industrial, municipal, and commercial customers in China, the Middle East, North Africa, East Africa, and Southeast Asia, primarily through direct sales, agent and distributor networks, and trade shows. The craft beer segment, which launched in early 2025, involves both selling automated brewing machines to commercial operators and distributing craft beer through two acquired distribution businesses. Revenue is recognized at point of sale, supplemented by after-sale technical support. ReTo's cost structure is lean on the manufacturing side given outsourcing, with key costs in R&D, sales, and supplier management. Customer concentration is extreme — a single customer accounted for 59% of revenue in FY25. Beyond its core equipment business, ReTo is pursuing several expansion initiatives including a large-scale distributed solar power project in Gansu province and a tropical fruit cultivation project, both of which remain early-stage.
