DESCRIPTION

Datavault AI is a small, early-stage technology company operating two divisions: Acoustic Sciences and Data Sciences. Acoustic Sciences is the current revenue engine, built on two core technologies — WiSA, a wireless multichannel audio transmission platform licensed to consumer electronics OEMs like Bang & Olufsen, Harman Kardon, and Klipsch, and ADIO, a data-over-sound platform that uses inaudible tones to transmit data, verify location, and trigger interactions across mobile and IoT environments. Datavault has also acquired CompuSystems, an event registration and lead retrieval services provider for trade shows, and API Media, an audio-visual and audience intelligence services provider for sports venues, which give Datavault a base of live events to deploy its technologies. Data Sciences is Datavault's strategic growth priority, centered on a platform called the Information Data Exchange (IDE), which is designed to help organizations value, tokenize, and trade data and real-world assets — including commodities, minerals, NIL rights, carbon credits, and real estate — on a blockchain-based exchange. The IDE is supported by AI agents that score and value assets, and Datavault plans to launch vertical marketplaces for commodities, athlete NIL rights, and political contributions. Revenue is intended to come from licensing fees and a share of trading activity on these exchanges. As of early 2026, the IDE and its exchanges are not yet fully launched, and the Data Sciences division has not yet generated meaningful revenue. Customer concentration is significant, with two customers accounting for 77% of FY25 revenue.
