DESCRIPTION

Duke Robotics is a small Israeli-American robotics company with two distinct business lines: a civilian drone-based insulator cleaning service and a licensed defense weapons drone system. On the civilian side, Duke's IC Drone cleans high-voltage electric utility insulators — a task traditionally done by helicopters and crane trucks near live power lines. Duke provides this as a recurring service to utility operators, with Israel Electric Corporation as its anchor customer. Duke is now expanding into Europe through a Greek subsidiary, and recently launched a next-generation system (ICDS2) with improved flight time, payload, and stability. Duke also offers AEROTRACE, an AI-driven aerial monitoring and analytics tool designed to help utilities assess infrastructure conditions and plan maintenance. On the defense side, Duke developed a robotic stabilization gimbal that enables accurate remote firing of small arms from an unmanned aerial system. Duke has exclusively licensed this technology to Elbit Systems, which markets and sells the system — branded "Bird of Prey" — to militaries globally, including the IDF. Duke earns tiered royalties on Elbit's sales and does not bear any manufacturing costs for the defense product. Duke is an early-stage company with a very small headcount, relying on contractors and third-party suppliers, with assembly done in-house in Israel.
