DESCRIPTION

Entera Bio is a clinical-stage Israeli biopharmaceutical company with a single core focus: converting injectable peptide and protein therapies into oral tablets. Its proprietary N-Tab platform is designed to protect peptides from degradation in the gut and promote their absorption into the bloodstream. Entera has no approved products or commercial revenue; its value is entirely tied to its pipeline and platform. Entera's lead program, EB613, is an oral tablet version of teriparatide (PTH[1-34]) — the same active ingredient as Eli Lilly's Forteo — targeting osteoporosis patients who avoid or cannot access injectable anabolic therapy. EB613 has completed Phase 2 trials and is advancing toward a 750-patient Phase 3 study using total hip bone mineral density as the primary endpoint, following FDA alignment in 2025. Entera retains global rights to EB613 and plans to partner with a large commercial pharma company for launch. Beyond EB613, Entera is developing EB612, an oral PTH therapy for hypoparathyroidism (a rare condition with orphan drug designation), and EB618, an oral dual GLP-1/Glucagon agonist targeting obesity and metabolic disorders. Both EB612 and EB618 are co-developed with OPKO Health, which contributed proprietary peptide analogs and an equity investment in exchange for shared economics. Entera's business model is platform-driven: validate N-Tab through EB613, then apply it across therapeutic areas either independently or through partnerships.
