Odyssey Health is a pre-revenue medical device development company with two products in development: Save-A-Life (SAL) and CardioMap. SAL is a choking rescue device that uses a vacuum pump mechanism to dislodge objects from a choking victim's throat. CardioMap is a heart monitoring device designed to detect early signs of coronary heart disease using a novel electrocardiogram technique called Dispersion Mapping. Neither product has received FDA clearance, SAL is currently unfunded, and CardioMap's development is suspended. Odyssey has two employees and no commercial products. The company's intended business model is to develop or acquire medical device IP, outsource manufacturing to third parties, and generate revenue through licensing and distribution agreements once regulatory approval is obtained. Odyssey plans to charge distributors an initial license fee plus royalties based on gross sales, with a preference for international licensing agreements. Until at least one product obtains regulatory clearance and funding is secured, there is no path to commercial revenue.
