Scinai Immunotherapeutics is an early-stage Israeli biopharmaceutical company operating two distinct business units: a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) and an internal R&D pipeline. The CDMO business, operating under the Scinai Biopharma Services brand, is the current revenue-generating arm, providing analytical development, process development, and cGMP manufacturing services to early-stage biotech clients in Israel and the U.S. Scinai operates two cGMP facilities — a biologics-focused facility in Jerusalem and a small-molecule API facility in Yavne, acquired via the purchase of Recipharm Israel in early 2026. A partnership with Recipharm allows Scinai to support clients from early-stage through late-stage manufacturing, with Recipharm handling larger-scale capacity. On the R&D side, Scinai is developing two preclinical antibody programs targeting inflammation and immunology conditions: PC111, a monoclonal antibody targeting the Fas/FasL pathway for severe skin blistering diseases, and a NanoAbs platform of camelid-derived antibody fragments targeting IL-17 for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Neither program has entered clinical trials. Scinai funds R&D primarily through non-dilutive grants from the Israeli Innovation Authority and EU FENG program, and intends to out-license or partner programs at clinical milestones rather than build its own commercial infrastructure. The dual-business model is designed so CDMO revenues and grants reduce reliance on equity financing to fund the R&D pipeline.
