DESCRIPTION

SciSparc is a clinical-stage Israeli pharmaceutical company developing cannabinoid-based drug candidates for CNS disorders. SciSparc operates primarily through its majority-owned subsidiary NeuroThera, listed on the TSXV. The company's core approach combines cannabinoids (THC or CBD) with CannAmide, a proprietary formulation of PEA, an endogenous fatty acid amide that SciSparc believes enhances cannabinoid efficacy at lower doses through what it calls a "sparing effect." SciSparc's two lead candidates are SCI-110, a THC/CannAmide combination in Phase IIb trials for Tourette syndrome and targeting Alzheimer's disease agitation, and SCI-210, a CBD/CannAmide combination in an ongoing Phase IIb trial for pediatric autism spectrum disorder. SciSparc intends to pursue FDA approval via the 505(b)(2) pathway, which allows reliance on previously established safety data for the underlying active ingredients, potentially reducing development costs. CannAmide also holds a standalone product license from Health Canada for chronic pain. SciSparc has no approved pharmaceutical products and generates no pharmaceutical revenue, relying entirely on external financing to fund development. The company's business model is to advance candidates through trials and then either commercialize them, out-license for royalties and milestones, or both. SciSparc also holds a minor nutraceutical business selling hemp seed oil products on Amazon, which is not a meaningful part of the business.
