DESCRIPTION

Elicio Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotech developing off-the-shelf cancer immunotherapies. The company has no commercial revenue and funds operations through equity financing and grants. Elicio's lead program, ELI-002 7P, is an immunotherapy targeting KRAS gene mutations — a driver mutation present in roughly 88% of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), 36% of colorectal cancer, and 25% of non-small cell lung cancer cases. ELI-002 7P trains T cells to recognize and attack tumor cells carrying these mutations. Because KRAS mutations are shared across large patient populations, ELI-002 7P can be manufactured in advance and used broadly, rather than custom-made per patient. The drug's delivery relies on Elicio's proprietary Amphiphile (AMP) technology, which binds therapeutic payloads to albumin after injection, allowing them to travel through the lymphatic system and accumulate in lymph nodes — where T cell activation occurs. ELI-002 7P is currently in a randomized Phase 2 trial in adjuvant PDAC, with a final disease-free survival analysis expected in the first half of 2026. Elicio also has two preclinical programs — ELI-007 (targeting BRAF mutations) and ELI-008 (targeting TP53 mutations) — both grant-funded and seeking development partners. Elicio manufactures through contract manufacturers and holds an exclusive worldwide license to foundational AMP patents from MIT, with additional optionality through potential out-licensing of the AMP platform for applications in CAR-T, TCR-T, and autoimmune disease.
