DESCRIPTION

AppYea is a very early-stage technology company that, through its subsidiary Techlott, provides blockchain-based infrastructure and software to licensed lottery operators. AppYea was originally incorporated in 2012 as a mobile software company, and later pivoted to digital health via the acquisition of SleepX. In 2025, AppYea acquired Techlott, a Cypriot company, representing a full strategic pivot to blockchain-enabled lottery infrastructure. Techlott's platform replaces traditional lottery back-end systems with blockchain-native architecture, using smart contracts to automate ticket registration, draw execution, and prize distribution, and using cryptographically verifiable random functions to generate draw outcomes. The core value proposition is transparency and auditability — every draw and transaction is recorded on a public, tamper-evident ledger that operators, regulators, and players can independently verify, in contrast to legacy systems that are opaque and difficult to audit. Techlott connects to an operator's existing stack via SDK/API, so operators do not need to rebuild their entire system to adopt the platform. Techlott's revenue model includes one-time setup fees, recurring service and support fees, custom development fees, and revenue-based fees tied to operator turnover. The revenue-based component is potentially the most scalable. Techlott currently has one active customer — a lottery operator in The Gambia — and is targeting emerging markets in Africa and Asia as its near-term expansion focus. The company employs 14 people, mostly in R&D, and has no significant revenue history.
